3-word Wednesday Strikes Again

Today's three words are:  Baffle, Elegant, and Negate, which brought to mind the following:

Nothing could negate that her elegant arms baffled the detective;  after all, it was well-known that Venus de Milo had lost both of them years ago.  How she now came to have them, from one day to the next whilst in the Louvre, was a mystery.

Oh, that is clever. I wish she did have both of her arms, my curiosity kills me about what she was doing with them!! :)
Clever write for the prompt!

A truly elegant take on a difficult challenge. I would certainly have been baffled and thought it impossible. Your cleverness negates that opinion.
Thanks - loved it.

Oh, Venus! You baffle so many in myriad ways. Fun take on the prompt.

Now that would be a prank.

Hm...what would her arms look like?

I do recall seeing a conjectural reconstruction of what she might have looked like and in one hand she was holding something. It is funny how comfortable we are for her not have them which allows use to admire her perfect imperfection.

Clever. And now you have me wondering if she ever had arms.
